Directions:
- Cut out the foldable
- Glue title and chart into GRAMMAR SECTION of journal
- Write missing letters on front of flaps
- Write at least 2 examples under each flap
- Turn journal back into bucket
- Start Quill "Plural Noun 2" practice
COMMON & PROPER NOUNS
Directions:
- Cut out the foldable (scraps into trash can)
- Write information on headers
- Glue thin headers onto next page in the GRAMMAR SECTION of journal
- Write at least 6 examples under each flap
- Highlight capitalized letters of proper nouns
- Ask Mrs. Reeve to check your work
- Clean up area and turn journal back into bucket
- Done List
WHAT DO I CAPITALIZE? Instructions
- Cut out "What do I Capitalize?" title box
- Cut out other piece and along dotted lines in between words (be careful not to cut solid line area)
- In the GRAMMAR section of your journal, glue down title box and header of other piece
- Lift each tab and write an example of the rule (use my examples or create your own)
- Use highlighter for capital letters
- Ask Mrs. Reeve to check it
- Clean up your area, journal put away
- Complete Quill "Common and Proper Noun" practice
- Make sure yesterday's foldable is complete "Common and Proper Noun" (green one)
- Play the NOUN GAMES listed below

- Cut out "Four Kinds of Sentences?" title box
- Cut out other piece and along dotted lines in between words (be careful not to cut solid line area)
- In the GRAMMAR section of your journal, glue down title box and header of other piece
- Watch "4 Types of Sentences" video (see above)
- Lift each tab and write the rule and an example (use my examples or create your own)
- add the punctuation marks to outside of foldable (. ? . !)
- Ask Mrs. Reeve to check it
- Clean up your area, journal put away
- DONE list :)

- Write conjunction name on flaps (markers okay).
- Write a sentence with the conjunction underneath the flap (pencil only). Use the examples below to help you if you can't think of your own.
- Turn journal in to basket.
