Quick- Writes
Who?
- On your own
- A timed, short writing on a given topic
- At your seat or sometimes around the room
- Teacher will set timer, usually 10-15 minutes.
- To build up your Writing fluency and reflection skills
- In the QUICK WRITE section of your Writing Journals
- Include the DATE & TOPIC
- Write the ENTIRE time
- Do not worry about spelling or grammar - just do your best!
- Let your IDEAS flow!
